Why the value of software is 4.99 but the price paid was 24.97? $ 4.99 BR Real is 7.66 ... I did not think it right!

I just purchased the app for Mac OS X Mavericks. I wanted do delete „found.app“ and „dropl.app“. That didn’t work: error message „protected files can’t be deleted. But in reality they where not protected!
This is what everyone would need; Such a hassle free uninstall. This keeps your mac clean from old junks. The files that could not be deleted can be deleted from command line; all you need is the location and sudo rm. Price is great too. This is another handy tool that is added to your mac. Dont miss it. Cheers.
Easy, eficient and powerful. All you need to delete properly an app. Great app.
Works great, easy to use… great price. If you are looking for an uninstaller, take this software.
Something inside me told me to not buy this app, but I didnt listen and bought it anyway. The very first time I used it I tried to delete an app. I dragged the app icon onto the screen like it says to do and clicked the little trash can button. A message came up saying I dont have permission. Excuse me?!!! I do have permission. Its my computer! Nobody else uses it. I log onto it every day. I paid my own money that I got from the job I work at every day for all the apps on my computer so I should be able to delete them all if I want. As far as not having permission to delete apps on this computer, well the fact that I bought it at The Apple Store in person and I have the credit card bill in my name every month to prove it, and its telling me I dont have permission???!!! Not impressed, especially since it was the very first time I used the app. Then it gives me a link to their website for help. I click it and it takes me to a webpage telling me all about what wonderful software they make but it doesnt offer any help at all. I suggest you stear clear of this app. Listen to your gut. It doesnt work. Itll just tell you that you dont have permission to use it and you get to pay $7 for that. UPDATE: The developer emailed me to tell me how I have to download a free add on from their website in order to get this app to allow me to delete apps on my computer. Im confused as to why they dont just include that functionality with the app from the mac app store in the first place. It seems fishy. But at least its working now. I still dont like that though. Why cant I just buy apps from the Mac app store that are fully functional? I dont like getting software from anyone else but Apple because I only trust Apple. I hope the developer will fix this problem.
Hey folks, There is alot of programs and files you just cant delete with out this program. It even has a FREE Add-On which allows you to remove " protected read-only " files!!!! Worth the download! Never a problem, and FAST removal is a understatement! 5/5 Warren
It’s fast and easy and offers a lot of control, so that you can see exactly what you are uninstalling.
Nice to see the developer updating! Loving the ease of use and functionality!
Unfortunately dragging apps to the trash DOES NOT delete many other files that were created and left on your Mac. This is were TrashMe comes in at. It finds most if not all the garbage left behind from apps that you want to uninstall. Ive been using this since version 1.0 and I love it. Until Apple implements a more thorough uninstall process this is a must have app on my Mac.
I used it for about a year for free with excellent results, always. Noticed the update and the new price tag, so I decided before purchasing I would try iTrash Demo and on the third and final uninstall with iTrash ( three is all you get on the Demo ) it deleted all kinds of unrelated files and folders. I put the files/folders back, uninstalled iTrash with TrashMe and imedeiatly purchased TrashMe. From unfortunately the App Store. Would give it a 5 star rating but I hate being forced to download through the App Store!! Please give us another option for downloading and purchase?
Great for removing MOST programs. Had trouble getting it to remove Abelton live. The program was still launchable after it tried to delete it. All other programs have been removed wonderfuly. I wish they would add in an option to remove all related folders that a program had created. I would value that app at around $5
This application is absolutely terrible! I was looking for an alternative to cleanmymac and found a (very inaccurate) review of this app. there were 7 programs I tried to delete with this app. IT FAILED TO DELETE A SINGLE FILE! trashme blamed "the file did not have any permissions" as the reason it could not delete even one file related to even one piece of software. other, much better apps, simply ask for your password before deleting these files, which is a perfectly reasonable failsafe. This application should be trashed. And i never say this, but I want my money back.
I downloaded this app to clean up my sons computer before installing Lion. It looked like it would be helpful in cleaning out a ton of CLASSIC and POWERPC apps that he had migrated from computers past without ever cleaning up. After less than ten minutes attempted use I deleted this app as it turned out to be more of a hinderance than a help.
Doesnt clean-up all related files as it supposed to be. It is better to do a search and delete the remaining files from there.
This is the first version that works perfectly with Lion. App has become very effective and impressive.
Last version was Horrible didnt do anything right. so far this one has been able to delete my apps. well done for fixing the bug ill give u 4 stars after 3 days of usage i.e if it works well
TrashMe is a great app for uninstalling apps and removing all the little files left behind and scattered around your disk. My only complaint is that TrashMe used to be free and now costs $6.99
Some feature requests: 1. Ability to disable right-click "uninstall with trashme" function. 2. After uninstalling an app, the Trashme window closes. Ill re-rate 5 stars when these are fixed.
not sure why apple doesnt have something like this built in.
